01 · Why I wrote it

The guide I wish I had when I started.

I had already spent years working with AWS when I decided to write this book. The goal was not only to prepare readers for an exam: it was also a reason for me to revisit the platform from end to end, strengthen the areas I used less often, and connect services that are easy to learn only in isolation.

I wanted to create the guide my beginner self would have loved to find—clear enough to build confidence, broad enough to reveal how AWS fits together, and practical enough to remain useful after the certification is complete.
