My experience

  • Started as a backend developer and firmware engineer back when deploying projects meant buying Linux Dell servers and renting rack space in server farms (ah, the 2000s!). Those were simpler times when vanilla JS and a touch of jQuery could make web interfaces genuinely interactive...
  • Evolved into a full-stack developer building APIs and SPAs with Angular, Vue, React, Next.js, Svelte, and whatever framework happened to be trending that week
  • Wielded Java, Python, TypeScript, and a growing arsenal of languages as projects demanded
  • Embraced the containerization revolution with Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and the full DevOps toolkit
  • Specialized as an AWS architect, designing solutions for diverse clients across various industries
  • I thrive on understanding every piece of the puzzle鈥攆rom initial concept to production deployment
  • I work best with cross-functional teams where everyone brings their expertise to the table
  • I prefer working with well-paying clients as a consultant rather than a contractor or "fake employee." I'm selective about projects and only take on work that genuinely interests me

  • Elixir and the Phoenix Framework with LiveView鈥攂uilding server-side applications with interactive web interfaces, all in one cohesive approach
  • HTMX: returning to the elegance of HTML and server-side web development, like it's the 2000s but better
  • Go: finally, a simpler language with an excellent standard library that makes me want to retire Java and C#
  • 馃 Rust: finally, something that makes me want to ditch C++!
